Seeing the need for better designed, more authentic
wood floors, in 1987 Michael D’Angelo started his dream. Rather than mass-produced flooring that lacked any unique character, Michael dreamed of developing a distinctive line of old world, hand crafted, authentic planks and parquets that would express the unique personality of individual homes.

The beauty and quality of his work spoke for itself. As his reputation spread, he rose to the top ranks of creating dream floors for well-known clientele world wide.

Michael has chosen to remain boutique in size in order
to allow entrepreneurial control over the entire manufacturing process.

Because of his desire to have complete creative freedom, Michael began to select his own woods and manufacture his own planks and parquets. Investing in extensive state-of-the-art equipment, and experimenting with different products, he found that he could create colors that brought out the true beauty of the wood, and he could create planks that were long and wide, a feat many of his contemporaries at the time said was impossible.

As his concern for the environment grew, Michael pioneered the development of solid engineered planks
and parquets that consumed less of the world’s wood resources, but took nothing from the quality he had always provided to his clients.

Today his designs, his craftsmanship, his knowledge, his gentlemanly manner, and his ethics stand apart from the rest. For over 20 years, his reputation grew from word of mouth only.
